Standard setup plus one year’s precious-metals and storage fees total $275. Transaction and other service fees are assessed only when applicable. This uses physical-metals pricing, not the core plans for non-metals assets.
These are conditional charges, not fees every client incurs. ASG’s all-fee commitment covers any first-year IRA fees assessed for a qualifying account. The fee schedule may change; your Advisor can confirm the assessed charges.
Start With the Account You Have
Explore potential IRA transfers and plan rollovers. The source account, available distribution and destination IRA determine what is possible.
Existing pre-tax IRA assets may generally transfer to a new Traditional self-directed IRA.
Roth IRA assets may transfer to another Roth IRA, not a Traditional IRA. Pre-tax-to-Roth conversions generally create taxable income.
Eligible distributions may roll over. Current-employer plans may restrict access; your plan administrator must confirm.
An eligible plan distribution may roll over to an IRA. Availability depends on your employment status and plan rules.
Eligible governmental-plan distributions may roll over. Nongovernmental 457(b) plans cannot roll over to an IRA.
Eligible TSP distributions may roll over. Withdrawal eligibility and Traditional-versus-Roth rules still apply.
A transfer to a Traditional or Roth IRA generally requires the two-year participation period to have ended.
Some plans offer rollover-eligible lump sums. Not every pension or recurring payment qualifies.
Eligibility is not automatic. Required minimum distributions and hardship distributions cannot be rolled over. Roth assets need an appropriate Roth destination. Confirm plan rules and tax treatment with your provider and tax professional.
Paperwork Handled. You Stay in Control.
One ASG team coordinates the process. You review the paperwork and decide what to do at every step.
Start with your ASG Advisor. Our Sales Administration team coordinates account opening with our selected IRA custodian and prepares paperwork for your review and signature.
Understand how a Precious Metals IRA works. Review eligible gold, silver, platinum and palladium, product pricing, and how the choices fit your goals.
Our team coordinates the paperwork for an eligible IRA transfer or direct plan rollover. Your existing provider and plan rules determine the available funding path.
After funding and purchase, your IRA metals go to an approved depository in segregated storage—not to your home. ASG coordinates the delivery and storage logistics.
Your dedicated Advisor and Sales Administration team remain your point of contact, with quarterly statements and support for account questions and future decisions.
Direct is usually simpler. An eligible trustee-to-trustee transfer or direct rollover avoids withholding on the amount moved. Taxable conversions and plan restrictions can still apply.

Before You Decide
Understand the offer and account rules before opening or moving funds.
ASG pays ALL first-year IRA fees directly for a qualifying new Precious Metals IRA funded with at least $25,000. Coverage begins upon funding and lasts for the first year. There is no fee-category exclusion or dollar cap. This benefit does not waive the price of your metals, and ordinary IRA fees apply after the first year unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Your new Precious Metals IRA must be opened, with at least $25,000 in funding received and cleared by December 31, 2026. Initiating a transfer, mailing a check, starting paperwork or booking a consultation does not satisfy the deadline. Processing and clearance depend on your current provider, custodian and plan—start early rather than assume a turnaround time.
A trustee-to-trustee transfer moves IRA assets between providers. A direct rollover moves eligible employer-plan assets to an IRA. These direct routes avoid withholding on the amount moved. If money is paid to you instead, 60-day rules and withholding may apply. A Roth conversion can still be taxable.
No. Required minimum distributions and hardship distributions cannot be rolled over. Current-employer plans, pension payments and SIMPLE IRAs have additional restrictions. Your plan administrator and tax professional should confirm what is eligible before funds move.
ASG is your main point of contact. Our Sales Administration team coordinates account paperwork with our selected IRA custodian, while your Advisor helps with education and metals selection. Eligible IRA metals are held at an approved depository in segregated storage.
No. The form requests information and an account review. It does not open or fund an IRA, approve the fee offer, or book a consultation. You review the terms and decide whether to proceed.
